The Director, Financial Management and Operations will be responsible for overall financial management and administration of the project. Working with the COP, s/he will develop and ensure effective and efficient implementation of the project’s financial plan, including management of grants and contracts following local laws. Engender Health and US Government requirements. Certified public accountancy or the equivalent professional qualifications are a plus, with a Master’s in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or other relevant field required. A minimum of eight years of work experience in administration and financial management of large-scale, complex, international development assistance programs with demonstrated supervisory experience is required. Experience in supervising grant management processes and providing technical support to program staff is preferred. Familiarity with USG financial reporting and compliance requirements and experience in managing donor funded procurements and subcontracts/grants is desired.
