Interaid Uganda Limited (IAU) is a nongovernmental humanitarian national organization established in 1988, and duly registered with the N60 Board and NGO Forum. lAU is involved in programs geared towards the protection and improvement of lives of disadvantaged people living in urban and rural areas in Uganda in the Great Lakes Region. lnteraid Uganda is focused on its thematic areas of Rights Protection, Education, Livelihood & Food Security, Health (HlV&AlDS; Malaria; Maternal and Reproductive Health), Water, Sanitation & Hygiene (WASH), Environment and Disaster Management and good Management and Governance systems. |nteraid is inviting potential and interested candidates to fill the following positions.
JOB TITLE: Senior Community Health Officer
REPORTS TO: Program Manager
DUTY STATION: Kampala Head Office
Role Summary
To oversee, provide support to ensure that the health status of the population improved through provision of technical and professional services to the clients.
Person Speciļ¬cation
  • Higher Diploma in medical/health field or related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ relevant work experience in a leadership role in an NGO environment.
  • Knowledge in project planning and management is desirable.
  • Good planning and organization skills.
  • Proven Leadership skills.
  • People centered.
  • High level of integrity.
  • Team player
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written communication.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Word, MS EXCEL, MS Power pointand MS Project.
