LWF Uganda works to reduce people’s vulnerability, supporting them to realize their potential, to build on their assests, and to respond to their own problems and needs. LWF Uganda is currently operating in Pader Kitgum, Lamwo, Adjumani,Moyo Luuka, Kamwenge, and Kampla District
The LWF is looking for mature, qualified and experienced person for the following position
Job Title: Hygiene and Sanitation Officer
Place of Assignment: Lamwo
Reports to: Team Leader
job Profile: the Sanitation and hygiene promotion officers will be responsible for the implementation of the Water Hygiene and Sanitation program of the project area Lamwo, host community that includes promotion of Hygiene: sate water management, latrine use for defecation, solid waste disposal, vector control, and environmental health activities and participate on regular hygiene promotion activities with the government health extension workers.

Required Skills & Competencies:
  • Experienced professionals in a relevant field diploma or BS: Degree in the area of Environmental Health, Behavioral Science, Health Education and Promotion or Public Health, with at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Commitment to LWFs mission- Improve the quality of life through interventions and related activities that build local capacity.
  • Working knowledge of English (spoken and written)
  • Preferable to use Office Word, and Excel
  • Able to live and work with a multicultural team under difficult Conditions.
