LWF Uganda works to reduce people’s vulnerability, supporting them to realize their potential, to build on their assests, and to respond to their own problems and needs. LWF Uganda is currently operating in Pader Kitgum, Lamwo, Adjumani,Moyo Luuka, Kamwenge, and Kampla District
The LWF is looking for mature, qualified and experienced person for the following position
Job Title: Project Accountant
Place of Assignment: Lamwo and other sub programs
Reports to: sub program Managers
job Profile: the Sanitation and hygiene promotion officers will be responsible for the implementation of the Water Hygiene and Sanitation program of the project area lamwo, host community that includes promotion of Hygiene: safe water management, latrine use for defecation, solid waste disposal, vector control, and environmental health activities and participate on regular hygiene promotion activities with the government health extension workers.

Required Skills & Competencies:
  • Bachelor's Degree in B Com (Accounting), BBA (Accounting), ACCA, CPA or related field
  • Should be self-driven, willing to work long hours and able to multi task and work with less supervision
  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in Finance and working with NGO
  • Practical experience in use of Accounting system
  • Excellent computer skills (MS Word, Excel)
  • Ability to work well with others under deadline situations and respond to changes in priorities.
  •  Good written and verbal communication skills and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, set priorities and see projects through to completion.
