Comprehensive Rehabilitation Services in Uganda (for people with disability) was established in 2006 as a private non-profit, non-governmental organization and is supported by CBM (Christian Blind Mission).
CoRSU Rehabilitation Hospital and Rehabilitation Centre on Entebbe Road provides Orthopaedic Surgery, Plastic Surgery and Rehabilitation, mainly for children with disability.
CoRSU Hospital is urgently looking for young and dynamic potential professionals in the following fields:
Auxiliary Staff (3 positions)
Reports to: Ward in Charge
Objective of the position:
The Auxiliary support staff is responsible for providing support to the Nursing team in: Facilitating the movement of patients from one area to another within the hospital, disinfection of trolleys after every transfer of patients, maintaining tidiness of the ward, cleaning & Refilling of alcohol hand rub bottles within the ward and maintaining infection control practices all the time.
Qualifications, skills & experience:
  • Certificate in O or A Level
  • Knowledge or English, Luganda, and any other local language Certificate in First Aid
  • Good infection control knowledge and skills Knowledge in manual handling
  • Experience working in a hospital setting
