A tea processing company with a factory located in Western Uganda, positioning itself to become the top processor of quality tea in East Africa announces vacancies for the following positions:
Human Resources Manager;

Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to the CEO, the HR Manager will:
  • Manage recruitment
  • Manage Performance and training activities
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures
  • Develop HR plans and budget, coordinate and implement such plans
  • Ensure full statutory compliance
  • Promote Safety, Health and Environment (SHE)
  • Manage day — to — day industrial relations
  • Coordinate and manage staff welfare
  • Prepare and manage all HR reports
  • Payroll management
  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial Psychology or Social Sciences
  • A Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management will be of an added advantage.
  • At least 5 years experience in preferably a large manufacturing entity of which 3 years should be at management level, Sound knowledge of Ugandan Labour laws
Other Skills:

  • Excellent numeracy skills
  • Excellent report writing skills
  • Good communication and supervisory skills
  • A person with proven high levels of integrity
  • Must be willing and capable of working in a rural setting
