Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist
Under the direction of the Community Development Coordinator, the person is responsible for performing monitoring, evaluation and learning aspects within the Country Program following established standards and procedures. This position requires that the person resides near the head office (Jinja). This position requires travel to remote locations within Uganda to support the implementation of the M 8t E framework at ail levels.
Key Specific Duties and Responsibilities
  • Review and develop a clear ME&L frame work for the WASH Program.
  • Develop relevant database for the projects and ensure baselines and end lines surveys are conducted.
  • Upload study results, lessons and share programme/projects reports with partners across the implementation land scape.
  • To supervise regular data collection through implementing partners and ensure quality of the data by random verifications and validations. ’,‘
Minimum Education and Work Experience
  • A Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Planning, Economics or Social Sciences or any other related field to Monitoring and Evaluation
  • Proficiency in data bases, computer application tools ' (including statistics analysis, Ms Project and Spread sheets)
  • +4 years’ work experience in statistics and/or M&E for Water Sanitation and Hygiene Programs. .
  • Excellent verbal, written communications and presentation skills.
