Job Title: Recruitment & Assessment Specialist
Reports to: Talent Manager
Department: Human Resource
Job Purpose
Carryout the recruitment and talent acquisition activities for the company in line with the company approved man - power plans
Key Result Areas
  • Work with Talent Manager to develop and implement Umeme‘s overall Talent Acquisition strategies.
  • Establish recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and objectives and meeting with HRBPs/managers to discuss needs.
  • Receive and follow up internal manpower requests rerouting to responsible parties.
  • Attract applicants by placing job advertisements; contacting recruiters, and job sites.
  • Coordinate the internal staff vacancies Advertisement process.
  • Ensure consistency in process including establishment of interview panels. collection of forms, check and maintenance of documentation and references
  • Guide the process of Collecting and screening resumes, select potential candidates and provide short list of approved candidates to Supervisors for interview.

Required Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Organizational and social psychology or Social Sciences
  • A Postgraduate diploma in Human Resource or management would be an added advantage.
