Duration: Three months initially
Job Summary:
To provide stores and logistics support and monitor proper accountability of goods and manage the courier system of the organization.
Key duties and responsibilities:
Stores Management
  1. Receive supplies and equipment and compile records, count quantity, check quality, document the received items in good received notes and stock card accurately.
  2. Stores supplies and equipment are well kept in respective store rooms and well labeled.
  3. Issue/dispatch of supplies to staff with approved request at all levels.
  4. Follow up returned goods outward notes; confirm delivery of dispatched goods to districts and health facilities.
  5. Carry out stock taking on a monthly basis and compile monthly stock report.
  6. Maintained stock levels update stocks card for goods in, goods out and returned goods.
  7. Maintain neat, clean and organized stores.
  8. Maintain accurate record keeping system, develop and maintain a well-functioning filing system that facilitates safety and easy retrieval of documents.
  9. Keep the inventory tracker of issued out items to districts, health facilities and schools updated.
  10. Any Other Duties that may be assigned to you from time to time.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

  1. A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement and supply chain management, Office administration, Stores management and any other related fields.
  2. At least one year experience in logistic and stores management in an NGO setting.
  3. Good Computer skills especially Microsoft office applications, Interpersonal skills, Communication skills and problem solving skills.
