Currently, Oxfam is implementing a humanitarian response to address the humanitarian needs of South Sudanese refugees hosted in West Nile sub—region. Oxfam’s areas of intervention include WASH, Emergency Food Security and Vulnerable Livelihoods (EFSVL), Gender and Protection. Oxfam works with local partners as a strategy for building humanitarian preparedness and response capacity within the organisations.
Oxfam is seeking to recruit qualified persons to join our dynamic, innovative and committed humanitarian response team. Some of these positions are for immediate placement while others are tor potential projects pending confirmation of funding.
Finance Coordinator
Working closely with the Humanitarian Programme Manager and Response Managers at field locations, the successful candidate shall provide overall support to the emergency response Finance staff in all aspects related to financial management, reporting and internal auditing. S/he shall provide technical/financial leadership and support, and ensure adherence to internal finance policies and procedures and enforces compliance of the organizational policies, standards and procedures. This role shall be responsible for building capacity of emergency response staff and partners in financial management.
