ACODEV is a regional NGO that was founded in 2003 and runs integrated Community Development Programs in Public Health, Human Rights, OVC support, Livelihood and Grassroots Capacity Development programs including sub-granting for small grassroots organizations in East and now Southern Africa region.
With funding from USAID, ACODEV, in partnership with Catholic Relief Services (CRS) as the Prime, is implementing a S-year consortium Program: Sustainable Outcomes for Children and Youth (SOCY). The Program is designed to improve the health, nutrition, education and psychosocial wellbeing of orphaned and vulnerable children, as well as reduce abuse, exploitation and neglect among this population. It is expected to reach a minimum of 625,000 children and their caregivers within 101,500 households in 19 districts in central, south western and western Uganda. The program will improve outcomes for vulnerable children and youth by strengthening the systems that surround them; caregivers will have greater economic opportunities, which will increase their resilience and make them less susceptible to shocks; local government structures and C505 will be strengthened to provide services targeting the diverse needs of vulnerable children, and health and social service agencies will strengthen their coordination and referral systems to provide integrated care along the continuum of response.

SILC and Youth group formation are the key vehicles used to support the beneficiary groups. It is anticipated that for every household enrolled will have a minimum of one youth, making, approximately 100,000 Youth. 80% of these are expected to participate in SOCY Project activities. ACODEV provides Technical Assistance (TA) to the programs operations of consortium C505. It is against this background that ACODEV is looking for suitably qualified candidates to fill the vacancies below, to carryout vertical project activities, in the districts of: Central Region: Wakiso, Luwero & Hoima; Western Region: Kyenjojo, Kibaale, Sheema & Mitooma.

Reports to: Monitoring Evaluation Accountability & Learning (MEAL) Specialist

Key Roles and Job Requirements
Overseeing SOCY Project M&E functions &5upervising Data Clerks of lPsin the district of operati0n;ensure SOCV CSOs and District sites compile and submit reports to the National systems; participate in development and/or administering of SOCV M&E tools across three result areas; participating in district and activity performance review/sharing and feedback meetings; support, mentor and provide guidance to SOCY sub-granted CSOS, District and sub-county sites in the areas of Data Demand & Use (DDU)or documentation and reporting; Prepare, Organise, check and sort data collected by CSO staff for timely entry into the SOCY-IVIIS, in collaboration with the Data Clerks; producing monthly, quarterly and annual reports; participating in on-site data management at SOCY sub—granted CSO offices, District and sub~county offices; Participating in Quality improvement (Qi) activities including monitoring activities of sub-granted CSOs.

Job Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree: BS: (Econ), BSc (Stat), B. Quantitative Economics, B. Population Studies or any other relevant degree; Minimum 2 years’ experience in monitoring and evaluation of OVC related projects, with National and international NGO; Experience in: field data collection, entry and analysis; database management and report generation; flexibility and adapting to changing priorities and critical deadlines. Kev Competencies: analytical and research skills; Effective Communication Skills — oral & written; Good interpersonal skills.
