The East African Development Bank (EADB) was established in 1967 with the remit to provide financial and related support to its member countries, which currently are Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda and Uganda. The East African Development~Bank has a country office in each of its member countries.
On behalf of the East African Development Bank, we are seeking to recruit highly a competent, motivated and professional individuals to fill the following positions: Head of Operations, Head of Finance, and Country Manager. The potential candidates should be able to integrate into the existing leadership team and demonstrate ability to deliver results.

Head of Finance
Overall Job Purpose:
Reporting to the Director General, the Head of Finance will be responsible for all aspects of strategic financial planning, design and implementation of financial policies, processes and systems as well as enhancing financial reporting and accountability for the Bank.
He or she will provide strategic leadership and ensure high quality accounting and financial services to the Bank. The job holder will be responsible for the provision of professional service and leadership to the finance team. Further, the job holder will be responsible for the provision of oversight on the development and implementation of finance related systems.
Key Qualifications and experience
The successful candidate must have at least ten years’ experience in finance with at least five years’ experience at head of department level in an active multi-national commercial bank environment or a large financial institution.
The ideal candidate will have experience in banking having risen through the ranks and gathered extensive experience in resource mobilization and special funds reporting.
S/he should have a Master’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce, Accounting or any other equivalent and relevant qualification from a recognized university.
The candidate must be a Certified Public Accountant or a member of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA) or have similar qualifications from other recognized professional bodies.
Additional Information:
The position is tenable in Kampala, Uganda and applicants must be willing to relocate outside their countries of domicile.
