Job Title: Deputy Country Representative (01 position)
Job Location: Country Office
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Take proactive actions to develop and maintain healthy relationship with Govt and NGOs, Solve legal & disputed issues, provide technical & relational expertise to programme and support unit teams to strengthen BRAG position in host country.
  • Represent BRAC to foreign and national governments, partners, donors and other stakeholders, and develop and maintain productive relationships and be the BRAC's representative and spokesperson to all publics, including local and international medial audience. V
  • Help CR to Ensure proper and transparent management of resources and reporting systems are established in the country in accordance with the policy and procedures and all regulatory requirements of BRAC, host country governments and donor’s policy
  • Visit projects to encourage, advice, build relationships, evaluate and inspect the funded projects. Accordingly follow-up with the programme managers on the findings of audit, risk register and monitoring report
  • Analyze continuous impact and effectiveness of existing programmes on a national level and adapt accordingly
Required qualification & Skills
  • Masters/ PhD in Technical subject areas.
  • Minimum of 8 - l0years proven programme/project development and management experience in a developing country.
  • Professional knowledge in diverse development approaches
  • Ability to think strategically, conceptualize new ideas. digest and analyze complex information and present coherent work plan or implementation plan
  • Proposal writing/ report writing, donor requirement understanding/conceptual skills, coordination & networking (information gathering & analysis), budgeting, presentation Ability
