Job details:
We are looking for position to join our team.
Post: 2 Junior Coffee Agronomists (Masaka and Luwero)
Main duties and responsibilities
  •  Identify and on-board farmers;
  • implement farmer support programme, including agronomy trainings, farm visits, management of demo plots and input Supply;
  • Identify potential risks and develop action plans;
  • Coordinate coffee mobilization;
  • Collect data for Kyagalanyi M&E system;
  • Maintain effective working relationships with KCL staff, local partners and stakeholders;
  • Assist with data entry, data analysis and report writing.
Candidate Specifications
  • Degree (preferably BSc) in Agriculture or related field;
  • At least 2 years’ experience in related field of work (coffee, farmer support, certification);
  • Practical knowledge and experience with coffee production is highly desirable;
  • Proven experience with running farmer trainings;
  • Experience in collecting, analysing and reporting data (M&E) in Excel and Word;
  • Willingness and ability to work extensively in rural areas with farmers;
  • Experience in riding a motorbike (license is a must);
  •  English and Luganda;
  • Personality traits: proven ability to lead by example, energetic, enthusiastic, self-drive;
