Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • The Regional Sales Coordinator will represent the aYo brand in the assigned region of all MTN foot print.
  • Recruit, train, coach, motivate inspire and retain a team of supervisors (leaders) as per business plan.
  • Ensure that the region achieves the targets within schedule, through proper leadership, people and performance management.
  •  Identifying new customer opportunities, present, promote and sell aYo products/services using solid arguments.
  •  Maintain and expand customer base by proper management of team supervisors.
  •  Building and maintaining rapport with the key customers stake holders and business partners.
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.
  • Organize, coordinate and execute trade activations, marketing events, to drive uptake.
  •  Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments market’s potential, track sales and status reports
  • Furnish management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
  • Assist the sales manager in planning, forecasting and management of the territory
  • Represent the company at trade shows and insurance industry activities in the region.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
  • The applicant must hold a BA degree or equivalent.
  • Telecom, mobile and/ or Insurance background is an added advantage.
  • At least two years’ work experience as a sales function
  •  Good knowledge of the Direct Sales Teams, and the direct to consumer model.
  • Good people and performance management skills
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and powerpoint
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
  • Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
  • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback.
  •  Resident in the Eastern region or ready to relocate.
