(JSI), a leader in the field of international publichealth, is currently recruiting positions for the Regional Health integration to Enhance Services-North, Lango (RHITES-N, Lango) Project, funded by the USAID. The Regional Health Integration to Enhance Services-North, Lango project will improve the use of integrated health services in Northern Uganda‘s Lango region and strengthen the health system to sustain gains made by earlier projects. The Regional Health integration to Enhance Services-North, Lango project will contribute to improving key population-based national health indicators; build the capacity of the Ugandan government to carry out a sustainable and locally-driven response to the HIVepidemic, while also improving TB, malaria, nutrition, MNCH+A,FP and WASH outcomes. JSI will work with Ugandan stakeholders to design and implement health system strengthening strategies to scale up high-impact, evidence-based interventions at the national, sub-regional, district, and community levels. Interventions will include VMMC, virtual elimination of mother-to-child transmission of HIV, antiretroviral therapy, and condom education anddistribution, JSI will focus where the greatest impact can berealized, with a priority on hard-to-reach and high-HIV-prevalence locations.
The Regional Health integration to Enhance Services-North, Lango project is a live-year contract. The JSI team includes Amref Health Africa, Africa CUAMM, Another Option, and The Medical Concierge Group.

Position Description

  • Assist in monitoring of timely and consistent data collection and reporting from all project partners and service providers;
  • Support project partners to develop, capture, consolidate and report on indicators and ensure high quality and timely reporting of monitoring data;
  • Supervise all data entry and maintain project data systems to ensure correct and timely reporting and tracking oi project achievement toward targets in accordance with RHITES-N,Lango, USAID and PEPFAR requirements;
  • Provide technical support, training and supervision to partners, including MOH and GOU in the area oi M&E/strategic information (St);

  • Master's degree in public health preferred or bachelor's degree and additional training, certificate or qualification in monitoring and evaluation (M&E) or relevant field;
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in M&E/Si for international donor funded projects, preferably including experience with USAID-funded protects;
  • Knowledge and experience with HIV, AIDS, STI, M&E data management in Uganda including data entry and cleaning, data analysis and report writing
    - PEPFAR reporting experience required;
