Malaria Consortium is one of the world's leading non-profit organizations specializing in the comprehensive prevention, control and treatment of malaria and other communicable diseases among vulnerable and under privileged populations. We increasingly find our work on malaria can be effectively integrated with other similar public health interventions for greater impact and therefore expanded our remit to include child health and neglected tropical disease interventions.
Malaria Consortium received funding from USAID/PMI to implement a 5 year project; The Malaria Action Program for Districts (MAPD). This project will aim to prevent and control malaria illnesses and deaths in or- der to minimize the social economic effects of the disease among the overall population of Uganda and especially in children under 5 years of age. The project began in August 2016, and covers 47 districts with a total population of more than 13 million.
Malaria Consortium seeks to recruit qualified individuals to fill the following vacant positions in the districts of Arua, Masaka, Hoima, Kabarole and Kampala;
