Total E&P Uganda is leading the development activities towards oil production in the Tilenga project area within the Albertine Region and now seeks to fill the following positions;
HSE Reporting Engineer: Req-12289BR

Main Responsibilities
The job holder will be responsible for the following;
Assisting the Senior Health Safety Environment (HSE) Engineer in developing and updating the Company's Health Safety, Social, Security & Environment [H3SE] system which includes procedures, reporting and H3SE training in compliance with the Company’s Referential and Ugandan Regulations. Ensuring implementation. Schedule meetings with contractors to assist them with their HSE Management systems. Preparing reports for both internal and external use and ensuring that the reports are in line with Group procedures. Record of HSE events/activities in Synergy. Furthermore coordination, implementation of the Company’s emergency response system. Ensuring that incident , accident and anomaly reports are performed and analyzed. In addition to carrying out cause tree analyses for incidents. Promoting the use of synergy and training users in the affiliate. Actively participate in the communication of procedures and best practices in Health & Safety.

Qualiļ¬cations and experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in science or equivalent in a technical field preferably Occupational Health & Safety or Chemical Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Oil and Gas with proven background in Health &Safety in the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Knowledge in Health & Safety reporting 
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft office
