StrongMinds Uganda ( SMU ) is a last growing and dynamic social enterprise, committed to improving the Mental Health of Women in Africa by providing lite-changing mental health services to impoverished African women. StrongMinds Uganda currentlypperates in 4 districts of Kampala, Wakiso,Mukono and lganga. StrongMinds Uganda seeks to fill the vacant position of Partnership Manager and applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced nationals. This is a one year contract renewable subject to satisfactory performance and availability of funding.

Job Purpose
The investments and Partnerships Manager will be a driver of growth within the organization and will lead on building relationships with the private sector in Uganda and pro-actively seek out new potential partners and donors, developing innovative ways to diversify our funding stream, along with maintaining relationships with diverse strategic partners already in place including government, multilateral and bilateral agencies, trusts and foundations. This role will partner with the ED to manage existing donor partnerships in-country.

As a member of the Senior Management Team. the Partnership Manager is responsible for contributing to the strategic development of StrongMinds Uganda‘s partnership approach within development as well as humanitarian programming. He/she is responsible for operationalizing the country programs Partnership Framework including development of the Partnership Policy, Strategy and Guidelines.

He/she will be responsible for supporting the effective execution and implementation of these documented approaches by rendering technical support and capacity strengthening within the partnership field as well as through the active engagement with SMU’s governmental and non-governmental partners.

The Partnership Manager, in collaboration with the ED and the Mental Health Trainer (MHT) will be responsible for rolling out the capacity strengthening eļ¬orts within the country program by supporting and coordinating capacity strengthening oi partners and coordinating staff capacity strengthening within the partnership field to relevant statt groups at both country and field office level.
