Duties and responsibilities
- Assists in Identification of business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analysing sales options.
- Assists in selling products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; recommending solutions.
- Assists in maintaining relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements.
- Identifies product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
- Assists in preparing reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing information.
- Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Sales Executive Skills and Qualifications: - A degree in marketing, business administration or any related field
- 5 years’ experience in agricultural in puts preferably Experience in fertilizers
- Sales experience of agricultural inputs, fertilizers and products in the local markets across east Africa.
- Computer skills preferably word, excel
- Good understanding of core advertising principles
- Exposure to internet-based advertising platforms for quick information flow
