Responsible for
  • Overall administration and business continuity
  • Diploma in Management field like business, public administration, health services, environmental health, social science or any other relevant field from a recognized University or Institution.
  • Possession of a bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution will be an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of Health Services Management gained over a period of 2 (two) years’ experience,
Other requirements:
  • Should have strong management, communication, and interpersonal skills, high integrity and a community service ethic.
  • Change management experience.
  • People management experience particularly supervison and coaching.
  • Planning and organising and Analytical skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Key outputs:
  • Periodic Ministry and Sector Performance Reports generated.
  • National Health Information Database updated.
Duties and responsibilities:
  • Ensure the development and implementation of the approved strategy and business objectives.
  • Ensure the development and implementation of adequate systems, policies and procedures to support the business operations.
  • Ensure that the centre is consistently presented in a positive image to relevant stakeholders.
  • Lead the HR function in developing and implementing HR strategies that attract, retain, and motivate staff that is dedicated to outstanding performance.
  • Lead the procurement function in developing and implementing procurement strategies that maximise value.
  • Ensure compliance of all regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure the maintenance of accurate and timely financial reports to facilitate informed decision making.
  • Ensure the development and implementation of an adequate framework to identify and mitigate risks.
