JOB DETAILS:
UN Women, grounded in the vision of equality enshrined in the Charter of the United Nations, works for the elimination of discrimination against women and girls; the empowerment of women; and the achievement of equality between women and men as partners and beneficiaries of development, human rights, humanitarian action and peace and security. UN Women’s office in Uganda works to advance implementation of the agency's normative, operational and coordination mandate, in close partnership with the Government of Uganda, the United Nations Country Team and civil society organizations.

UN Women Country Office in Uganda would like to update the capacity building program for NSS, to update the National Priority Gender Equality indicators and also to analyse the sample survey data from UBOS to prepare the policy briefs for evidence-based policy planning.

It is against this background that UN Women invites application (for the above three consultancy positions) from potential National Consultants to support in strengthening the National Statistical System of Uganda.
