National Farmers’ Leadership Centre (NFLC) was established by the Government of Uganda (GoU) under Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries (MAAIF) as part of national development interventions in the agriculture sector for socioeconomic transformation.
The Permanent Secretary (MAAIF) wishes to invite applications from suitably qualified Ugandans to fill the Post of Principal.

Job Title: Principal
Duration: 2 Years (Renewable)

Report to: PS
Responsible for: Deputy Principal Mindset/ Ideology, Deputy Principal Tech & General Administration
Number of vacancies: One (1)

Job purpose: To provide general management and leadership of NFLC to transform livelihood of the population through agricultural transformation

  • An honors bachelor’s degree in any of the following fields: Agriculture Sciences, Veterinary Medicine, Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, Biological Sciences, Economics, Development Studies Or Natural Sciences from a reorganized University or Institution: plus a
  • Masters, degree in any of the above fi elds from a recognized university or institution.
  • A post graduate qualifi cation in Management or Administration will be an added advantage
Working experience
  • A minimum of ten (10) years of working experience, fi ve (05) of which should be at Senior Managerial level in government or equivalent level of experience from reputable organization
  • Experience in working with an Agricultural Training Institute will be an added advantage
