Pader-Abim Community Multi-purpose Electric Cooperative Society Limited ( PACMECS ) is an Electric Cooperative Society tomred and registered on the 18th July 2008 under the Cooperative Societies ACT CAP 112, by the Registrar of Cooperative Societies with Reg No: 8729IRCS and membership of 1,400 members who paid at least two shares as per the society's Bye-laws. The society was licensed to carry on the business ct concessionary electricity distribution and to provide access to reliable and affordable energy sources especially electricity to the underserved rural areas, small scale enterprises (SSEQ) and institutions in the districts of Pader and Abim. Currently the society distributes electricity to seven districts of Pader, Agago, Abim, Kitgum, Lamwo, Omoro and Part of Lira Districts. The society has eight sub-offices for revenue and operational functions in these districts.

Job Position: Assistant Marketing and Information Officer

Reports to: Marketing and information Officer

Job Descriptions
Support the Marketing and information Officer in developing and carrying out various strategies and marketing campaign tasks. Compile analyses and reports marketing data and helps maintain client relationships.

Key Responsibilities and Duties.
  • Assist in creating promotional materials, including brochures, Banners, Flyers and many others
  • Provides fact - checking, copy - editing, and formatting assistance during the creation of website content, and other promotional materials
  • Helps maintain social media accounts for brands, products and services
  • Helps maintain excellent client relationships through superior customer service skills
  • Organizes and plans the production of all major marketing materials by working closely with the printers, sponsors, and other involved parties
  • Helps to plan promotional events hosted by the Company marketing department
  • Keeps client information confidential
  • Membership recruitment
  • General sensitization of the Public on business related and non - technical issues
  • Promote Rural Electrification programs generally
Minimum Qualification and Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing Business or Related Field
  • Computer Proficiency, Social Media, Research, Analysis,
  • Data Entry, Written and Verbal Communication,
  • Interpersonal Communication, Customer Service, Client Relationships,
  • Creativity, Teamwork. Planning,Reliability and Punctually.
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years working experience in a reinvent field
  • Must possoss e valid driving/riding Permit
