The Roles;
Oxfam is looking for competent persons to join our dynamic. innovative and committed team in the follow ng positions:
1. Project Manager
- ELNHA I (National. Fixed term based in Kampala with frequent local & International travel] The position provides overall project leadership and management, strategically influencing, effectively planning. supervising. controlling. coordinating. and facilitating scale up of the localization agenda ‘or humanitarian preparedness and response working with empowered LNHAs. S/he is responsible "or building and maintaining an effective team" and suitable enabling environment tor delivery of project results in close link with the Oxfam in Uganda Country Strategy.
The position oversees the project MEAL Officer. Project Accountant, Cash Transfer PO/Advisor, ELNHA Partnership Coordinator and Influencing officer.
Skills and experience:
• A Master’s Degree in international Relations. Social Sciences, Management or relevant discipline
• Be conversant with The Grand Bargain, the New York Declaration and Global Compact regarding localization of humanitarian 8C1lOl'15.
• At least five years’ experience in humanitarian policy influencing and Project management work at Regional or National level with substantial working experience n International NGOs at management level.
• Experience in managing multiyear large projects against tight donor requirements, preferably in humanitarian context with local partnerships, capacity building. influencing and strong advocacy elements.
• Experience in managing a technicality diverse team
• Ability to demonstrate and openness and willingness to learn about the application or gender/gender mainstreaming, women's rights, and diversity for all aspects of development work.
