The National Union of Disabled Persons of Uganda ( NUDIPU ) is an umbrella organization promoting the rights of Persons with disabilities in Uganda with the vision of having “A Just and Fair Society where Persons with Disabilities live a Prosperous and Digniied Life”.
We exist to advocate for the rights of Persons with Disabilities in a uniied voice for improved livelihoods. With funding from National Community Lottery Fund in conjunction with Aga Khan Foundation, NUDIPU is hereby seeking to recruit a competent and energetic Ugandans to ill the following position:
Job Tittle: Programme Manager, Policy Advocacy
Job Purpose
To take overall responsibility for developing and managing the delivery of an evidence based Advocacy strategy across NUDIPU and establish strong partnership or collaboration with institutions and stakeholders to ensure inclusion of Persons with Disabilities in policy, programmes and budgets..

Main Tasks and Responsibilities
• Spearhead policy and advocacy initiatives on disability and development.
• Conduct research in public policy to influence change at various levels.
• Carry out analysis of laws, policies and programmes for disability Inclusion

Qualifications.
• Masters degree in public policy, human rights or any relevant field is a MUST
• Honour’s degree in political science, international relations or development communication
• Strong experience in leading and managing projects. Ability to develop and maintain relationships with various internal and external stakeholders.
