POSITION: Associate Director Advocacy

Purpose of Position:
The Associate DirectorAdvocacy will be responsible for leadingWor|d Vision Uganda’s advocacy work at local and national levels in both development and refugee response programming.The role will also support WorldVision's international advocacy work, where relevant.
The jobholder will work collaboratively with advocacy staff, technical specialists and others to build World Vision Uganda’s reputation at national level and to engage in policy advocacy with government and other key stakeholders to support child well-being objectives specified in the World Vision Uganda National Strategy. The role will also include responsibility for technical guidance and strategic oversight to World Vision Uganda's local-level advocacy and social accountability programming.This position will lead World Vision Uganda’s advocacy campaigns, notably the lt Takes a World.
