JOB DETAILS:
Civil Aviation Authority ( CAA ) is a corporate body responsible for regulation of civil aviation in Uganda. It manages Entebbe International Airport (EIA) and thirteen (13) other upcountry aerodromes. CAA carries out its work in conformity with International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPs). The Authority now plans to recruit suitably qualified Ugandans of impeccable integrity and commitment to fill the following positions in its establishment, as detailed below:
JOB REF: CAA/ADV/EXT/DS/2019
POST: Senior Administration & Estates Officer
REPORTS TO: Principal Administration & Estates Officer
SALARY LEVEL: II
VACANCIES: 01
AGE: Should be between 3O to 55 years of Age.
JOB PURPOSE : The position exists to ensure adequate provision of Administrative services to all departments of CAA at all times..

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES (Summarised):
• Management of estates matters.
• Budget Preparation.
• Security & Safety.
• Administration Management Process.
• Management of equipment.
• Management of fixed assets.
• Human Resources Management.
• Carries out any other lawful assignment allocated by the immediate supervisor/Management.

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS
An honors bachelor’s degree in any of the following: Law with a valid practicing certificate), Business Administration. Management or Public Administration from a recognized Institution of higher learning.
EXPERIENCE .
A minimum of 7 years’ work experience in General Administration, land administration and management.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
• Should have knowledge inland acquisition and protection.
• Should be familiar with the process of acquisition of land titles.
• Must be computer literate in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point and computerized Human Resources systems.
