JOB DETAILS:
Medical Access Uganda Ltd (MAUL) is a nonprofit organization with a mission to enhance human health by providing efficient and sustainable health care supply chain management solutions. For the last 20 years Medical Access has been delivering lifesaving medicines to the people of Uganda.
Overall Purpose of the Job: Drives sales and client-relationship management, identify new markets, recommends new products and services, and develops new strategic partnerships with the long-term objective to meet Sales and Business Targets..

Job Responsibilities:
• Development and execution of the company's sales plan covering product, price, place, promotion, processes (customer facing), people and physical evidence
• Development of the annual Business plan up to revenue and margin targets
• Preparation of Sales and Marketing Opex Budget Manage, supervise, coach and motivate the sales team to achieve sales excellence through recruitment, training, incentives to ensure that they achieve their monthly, quarterly and annual sales turnover targets.
• To liaise with suppliers' marketing teams with regard to Marketing matters
• Responsible for successful introduction of new products on the Ugandan market and to ensure that the set revenue targets are achieved.
• Develop and implement a system to monitor sales performance by; product, supplier and sales executive.
• Initiate and supervise market research to inform marketing strategy and decision making
• Developing and implementing sales promotion activities and events to support sales strategy

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to plan and manage key business accounts.
• Negotiation, networking and persuasion skills
• Ability to work in a multicultural/ multidisciplinary environment.
• High integrity.
• Hold a clean driving license.
• Ability to evaluate market needs, practices and procedures.
• Skills in implementing sales and marketing strategies in health-related items or related sector.
• Ability to manage regional or national sales team

Job Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Biochemistry, Health Sciences, Biomedical Laboratory Technology Nursing, Marketing, Orthopedic Medicine, Pharmacy or other Health related field. Master's degree in business or any other related field
