Title: Communications Manager
Reports to: Country Representative
Location: Country office.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manage information flow and knowledge transfer among the various teams and programs.
• Represent BRAC Uganda to other external parties and guide the Country Representative.
• Support communication flows with BRAD international Head Office and other BRAC Office
• Establish and maintain liaison with existing and potential partners within Uganda.
• Organize visits and events.
• Identify potential areas of interventions in line with the strategic objective and integrated approach of BRAC Uganda.
• identify resource potentials within Uganda for existing and new areas of intervention.
• Develop and write Project Proposals forvarious interventions and respond to various funding opportunities.
• Develop and manage external communications within and beyond Uganda through newsletters, blogs, newspaper articles, diary and editing ail the electronic documents.

Minimum qualification and Requirement
• Master's degree in Communications management or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in communication or related field.
• Good knowledge of TOR andMOU writing and analytical skills. »
• Very good Computer skills with excellent reporting skills.
• Good interpersonal & Communication skills.
• Proficiency in Mac OS and Windows OS, video. editing applications, mapping applications, desktop publishing software, online applications and online social networks.
• Proven planning and organizing skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel and should be sensitive’ about other cultures, countries and people.
• Skilled operator of professional film and video equipment. - Detail oriented proof reader and editor.
