Lutheran World Federation (LWF) Uganda is part of the Lutheran World Federation Department for World service (LWF-DWs), an international humanitarian and development agency. LWF World service partners include
Lutheran Churches and their related agencies, the European Commission (ECHO), the Us Government (BPRM), UNHCR, IOM, UNICEF, UNFPA among others, with whom LWF World service is a key implementing partner. For more information about LWF World service, please check;
LWF-Uganda currently supports Congolese and South-Sudanese refugees living in settlements in the Districts of Kamwenge, Adjumani, Moyo, Kyangwali and Lamwo respectively with access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene services, community services, protection, psychosocial support, livelihoods and environmental conservation.
The LWF Uganda is looking for mature, qualifi ed and experienced persons for the following positions:
Place of Assignment: Rwamwanja Refugee settlement
Reports to: Team Leader
Job Summary: To oversee the effective planning, implementation, and coordination of multi-sectoral Project interventions; The Project Manager will be responsible for overall project leadership in implementation, budget management, monitoring and evaluation, reporting, building collaborations and networks with District line departments and other development partners. .

Required Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
• University Degree in social Work, social sciences, Development or other relevant fi eld of study.
• Postgraduate training in Project Planning and Management sound knowledge of Financial Management is an added advantage
• At least 5 years’ experience in Project Management/Community Development programming,
• Proven knowledge and experience in developing and implementing community mobilization projects
• Familiarity with standards and guidelines for Environment, Livelihoods and Protection Interventions in both emergency and development setting
• Ability to exercise sound judgment, to remain fl exible to a changing environment, and to make decisions independently
• strong communication skills, both oral and written.

Job Education Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree
Job Experience Requirements: 5 years
