FINCA Uganda is looking for dynamic people to join their team of professionals as Banking Services Manager and Product Innovation Manager. Details are highlighted as follows:
Job Title: Banking Services Manager
Duty Station: Head Office
Reports to: Executive Director – Corporate Services Summary: The Banking Services Manager is responsible for directing the daily management of FlNCA Uganda's banking operations activities and related services, including Staffing, Customer Management, Payments and Reconciliation and Banking Operations and procedures..

Key duties and responsibilities:
• Managing the banking service unit and building its internal capacity aligned to the organizational strategy by:
• Providing assurance on the integrity of the company's financial statements through reconciliation of all nostro accounts, Suspense accountsand developing critical KP|'s fortransaction classes with clear escalation procedures.
• Ensuring the establishment and effective operations of a transactional banking service unit through a centralized back office and loan management teams that provide services.
• Establishing and ensuring compliance of know your customer requirements and providing support in all product development and reviews.
• Establishing clear reporting of the unit and ensuring timely submissions to management, Board and Regulatory bodies in line with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Reviewing and improving the banking services policies and procedure manuals.
• Custodian ofthe units risk control self-Assessment and business continuity tools ensuring periodic updates and compliance with the set objectives.
• Ensuring all internal and external unit review findings are actioned and closed within agreed framework and COr1[rD| measures are iV1Stitut€d to avoid repeat findings.
• Developing and managing the annual budget for the banking services unit by:
• Carrying out supervisory responsibilities within the Unit.
• Identifying key roles and resourcing for banking services units, implementing structural changes. and developing Job descriptions and KP|s for each position.
• Establishing service level agreements for all work streams in the unit and ensuring implementation and compliance to the Service Level Agreements.
• Defining metrics, processing targets and implementing performance measures and initiatives to support banking services strategy.

Education Requirements • A Business related Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

Experience Requirements: • 5 year's work experience in a Financial/Banking sector with a minimum of 2 years as a team leader in various capacities including back office or finance related role.
