JOB DETAILS:
The Ministry of Agriculture, Animal industry and Fisheries (MAAIF) with support from United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and the European Union through Common Market for East South Africa (COMESA) is implementing a 3 year project titled Enhancing Resilience of Agricultural Landscapes and Value Chains in Eastern Uganda-Scaling up Climate Smart Agriculture. The project is under implementation in the districts of Budaka, Namutumba, Bugiri, Busia, Kaliro, Kamuli, and Buyende. To support project operations and to enhance effective delivery of project outputs, the Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries wishes to invite applications from suitably qualified Ugandans to apply for the positions Project Manager.

Position Number: 1
Reports to: Sustainable Land Management/Climate Smart Agriculture (CSA) Project Coordinator.
Position Duration: Three years
Remuneration: Attractive and commensurate with qualifications and experience .

Job Summary:
Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, identifying and supervising individual consultancies on specific assignments; planning and control, Monitoring and execution of the project, Monitoring financial resources and timely accountability, and ensuring that project outputs are completed on time and within budget and that the project's objectives and results are achieved.
